There are several indicators that you can look out for which could suggest a foot problem. Firstly, a big red flag is if your child complains of foot pain, or says that their feet or legs feel tired. Any bruising, swelling or discoloration of the foot or ankle is also sign of a problem, so make sure to examine your child’s feet regularly. Excessive falling and tripping can also suggest problems such as in-toeing (where the feet point inwards). Also, if your child stops doing activities that they enjoy, or cannot keep up with their friends, this may suggest that there is a foot issue causing discomfort or tiredness.
